The 18th Züri-Wiesn – Our Oktoberfest is already in full swing!

On 26 September, former Swiss professional cyclist, presenter and storyteller Franco Marvulli struck an aerodynamic blow and drove the tap energetically into the first beer barrel. We do believe that the silver medallist from the 2004 Olympics has once again secured his place on the sporting Olympus. To top it off he has surely made the entire festival tent fan community happy when he handed the first freshly tapped beer into the audience shortly afterwards.

Until 19 October, the Züri-Wiesn – Our Oktoberfest at the main station invites you to celebrate with us the Bavarian way.

We have given the Züri-Wiesn a new look and can hardly wait to welcome you to the new festival area. The Craft Beer Bar invites all lovers of urban beer culture to an expert verbal sparring session with the beer sommeliers while the Coffee Truck provides an early boost of caffeine. Find your spot in the new large beer garden and get that pure fun feeling even without paying admission. And if you still have some energy left, you can compete against other athletes in the beer lifting competition in the tent or beer garden to thunderous applause. A stein is the perfect training tool!

Pure euphoria has reigned at Zurich Main Station since 26 September, and the fun in the station will continue as long as you celebrate the joy of life with us Autumn is our time, come along and raise a glass.

With a great deal of verve and competitive spirit, our guest of honour made the wood splinter and handed the first foaming stein over to numerous thirsty throats in the audience. And then there was only one thing left to say: ‘Ozapft is!’

On selected days, the Costa Coffee Truck slides onto the festival site and wakes you up early in the morning. To make it even easier for you to jump out of bed, our mobile coffee bar will provide you with an extra load of caffeine from 6.45 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. on the following days:

The 18th Züri-Wiesn now shows off with a whole new dimension of fun! Two staircases lead up to the heavenly gallery. Up here you have a stunning overview of the great fun and the stage with the Wiesn bands. And you will be carried away by the waves of pure high spirits, even if you are unfortunately not allowed to jump onto benches and tables up here. But the biggest dance floor of the Züri-Wiesn awaits you in higher spheres! Let’s go and grab the top seats!
*The Wiesn-area is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. Unfortunately, access to the gallery is not barrier-free. If you are coming to the Züri-Wiesn in a wheelchair, please contact us in good time so that we can make the necessary arrangements!

Be sure & book

The Züri-Wiesn only takes place once a year and only lasts for round about three weeks. What’s more, everyone wants to be there when the wild party is due in the station. We’d better hurry so we don’t blow our chances. But tickets are also still available at the box office.

Whether you book a whole table of ten or individual seats – you can enjoy the great fun and games either way. And at the Züri-Wiesn you’ll always meet a lot of funny people who love nothing more than partying together.
